In partnership with Human Resources, Western’s Staff Development Team inaugurated the Western Staff & Leaders' Conference in 2003. The professional development conference, held annually in February, includes keynote speakers, workshops and tours of some of Western’s key research and support facilities. It is a great opportunity for staff and leaders from across Western to come together and learn about current issues, trends, and best practices. Past participants have consistently rated the conference very highly.
