Introduction to Leadership at Western

This course is an opportunity to build leadership knowledge and skill. Learn communication skills to effectively engage in difficult conversations, support others, and express your work needs in a constructive manner. Explore work style differences and how to leverage these when working in groups.

Who should take this course:

This program is for those in informal leadership roles (e.g. leading people on project teams, chairing committees, or serving in a lead hand role).

Course costs are covered by Western Human Resources, and are offered at no charge to participants.

Withdrawal Fee

Once you register, we begin preparing materials and resources for your participation. If you need to withdraw from a course, your department may incur a fee of up to $150.00 to help cover the costs of these resources.
