Western is focused on becoming a global leader in international education. As part of this international strategy the Staff Working Group on International Engagement (SIE) is developing opportunities for Western staff to participate and lead initiatives that reach beyond our campus.
To encourage global awareness and impact, Western’s staff international engagement group is establishing partnerships with several leading development organizations. WSIEP offers participants the opportunity to broaden their professional perspectives through global job-shadowing experiences at participating host institutions. Applications for travel during the time of May 2016 to April 2017 are now closed.
Congratulations to Lori Dengler, Postgraduate Education Coordinator, Anesthesia & Perioperative Medicine in the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry and Sylvia Kontra, Graduate Affairs Assistant in Modern Languages and Literatures on their selection to represent Western in the 2016/17 Leave for Change Program (L4C).
