Urgent - Flood Response Message

Faculty, Staff, Students and Guests who have their vehicles parked in the Medway or Talbot parking lots or the east side of the Chemistry parking lot are asked to move their vehicles to alternative parking lots of South Valley and Huron Flats or the West Campus and Althouse parking lots. 

This is a ongoing precautionary measure; however remaining vehicles will be towed at permit holder’s expense.

If your vehicle has been towed, it has been relocated to the Huron Flats parking lot.

 

Service Interruptions - Rising Waters Flood Risk - Medway, Talbot and Chemistry/Westminster Walkway

As part of the response to rising water levels and risk of flooding, effective immediately (March 9 2026) and until further notice:

Talbot Parking Lot - Talbot Parking Lot is closed to vehicular and pedestrian traffic. Further information link can be found here.

Medway Parking Lot - Medway Parking Lot is closed to vehicular and pedestrian traffic.  Further information link can be found here.

Chemistry/Westminster Walkway - The walkway between the Chemistry and Westminster Parking lot over the Medway Creek is closed to pedestrian traffic.  Further information link can be found here.

This area will re-open when the "All Clear" is issued and it is safe to do so.

 


Student Parking Permits - SOLD OUT

The Fall 2025 (September 1st to December 31st) and Annual 2025/26 (September 1st 2025 to August 31st 2026) and Winter 2026 (January 1st 2026 - April 30 2026) Student Parking Permits are sold out.

We will be running a waitlist for the Student Parking Permits and movement on the waitlist will directly depend on how many of the Student Parking Permits which were sold are returned to the parking office.

Service Interruption - Alumni Thompson Visitor Parking Lot (North Section) and South Valley Reserved Spaces Relocation (North Section) Sept 23 2024 - Aug 31 2026.

The Alumni Thompson visitor parking lots northern section will be closed to support construction of the new engineering building.  The southern section of the Alumni Thompson visitor parking lot will remain open for visitor parking and payment for visitor parking can be made through Honkmobile.

The South Valley reserved parking spaces along the north section of the South Valley parking lot will be closed to support construction of the new engineering building.  Additional reserved spaces will be added to the south section of the South Valley parking lot.
