Four types of support provided: Research Project, New Scientist Award, Data Analysis Grants, Pilot Preliminary Studies. Applicants need not specify the type of support they are requesting and should be aware that funds are not set aside specifically.

The Foundation accepts applications for grants to conduct research on important aspects of alcohol consumption and its effects.

The Foundation accepts applications for grants to conduct research on all aspects of alcohol consumption and its effects. Please ensure that the focus is directly related to the mission of the Foundation.

Application forms and general instructions can be obtained by downloading the PDF from the Foundation website or by emailing info@abmrf.org to request a writeable Word version. Emphasis on the Research Plan, detailing the innovative research is advised.

INDIRECT COSTS OF 15% MUST BE INCLUDED IN THE BUDGET

NOTE: Letters of Intent and Full Applications are to be processed through Research Development Services for institutional signatures, and are to be accompanied by a completed RDAF form (bearing applicant, Chair and Dean signatures). Requests for Institutional signatures should be received no less than 3 days prior to the posted Sponsor deadline.
