The Ontario Lung Association and Pfizer Canada are proud to announce a new research grant competition, the Ontario Lung Association/Pfizer Canada - Smoking Cessation Award. This program is a unique and innovative alliance between the Ontario Lung Association and Pfizer Canada. This award is a collaborative pilot program to fund research projects focused on smoking cessation. The Ontario Lung Association policies preclude the promotion of any particular product or service. This funding program will not consider proposals for pharmaceutical product development (including studies on non-approved indications for drugs) and / or product comparison. The eligibility of proposals will be ultimately evaluated by the review committee. |

Application Details: |
Acceptable research projects will focus on smoking cessation. The applicant must be a resident of Ontario, have an academic appointment in the province of Ontario, and the research must be conducted in an Ontario institution. In order to ensure that your application is given the careful consideration that it deserves please be sure to complete all sections of the application form carefully.INDIRECT COSTS ARE NOT SUPPORTED BY THIS PROGRAM |

NOTE: Letters of Intent and Full Applications are to be processed through Research Development Services for institutional signatures, and are to be accompanied by a completed RDAF form (bearing applicant, Chair and Dean signatures). Requests for Institutional signatures should be received no less than 3 days prior to the posted Sponsor deadline. |
