Description:

Young Investigator (YI) Grants are prestigious funding opportunities designed to help launch the careers of outstanding young researchers who are entering their first phase of an academic appointment

The intent is to help the PI establish his/her laboratory and generate enough preliminary data to support full research grant proposals. PIs must be within two years of their first appointment at the application deadline date, and documentation provided.

Application Details:

The ASRP focuses on two research streams: Quality of Life Stream: $60K/year for three years | Biomedical Stream: $75K/year for three years. They reserve the right to allocate an application to the appropriate review panel.

INDIRECT COSTS MUST NOT BE LEVIED ON THIS PROGRAM

NOTE: All Letters of Intent and Full Applications must be processed through Research Development & Services for institutional approval. Requests for Institutional approvals should be received no less than 3 days prior to the posted Sponsor deadline. A ROLA Proposal (bearing applicant, Chair and Dean electronic approvals) is required for each submission.
