Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), also known as Pervasive Development Disorders, encompasses a range of complex developmental disorders characterized by mild to severe challenges to social, emotional, and communication abilities.
The Autism Research Program was established to promote innovative, high-impact research focused on autism spectrum disorders (ASD). The ARP focuses its funding on projects that have the potential to make a significant impact on the lives of individuals with ASD. New for FY11 ? Investigators are encouraged to submit their data to the National Database for Autism Research (NDAR), which is a secure bioinformatics platform for data sharing for ASD. Proposal submission is a two-step process consisting of (1) a pre-application submission through the CDMRP eReceipt system (https://cdmrp.org/), and (2) an application submission through Grants.gov (http://www.grants.gov/).
PIs and organizations identified in the application submitted through Grants.gov should be the same as those identified in the pre-application.Submission is a multi-step process requiring both (1) pre-application submission through the CDMRP eReceipt System (https://cdmrp.org/) and (2) application submission through Grants.gov (http://www.grants.gov/). |
NOTE: All Letters of Intent and Full Applications must be processed through Research Development & Services for institutional approval. Requests for Institutional approvals should be received no less than 3 days prior to the posted Sponsor deadline. A ROLA Proposal (bearing applicant, Chair and Dean electronic approvals) is required for each submission. |
