Description: |
The Prostate Cancer Research Program (PCRP) was established to promote innovative research focused on eradicating prostate cancer. The Idea Development Award supports innovative approaches to prostate cancer research that make an important contribution to prevention, detection, diagnosis, and/or treatment. Applications will be rated on their responsiveness to the FY09 PCRP focus areas, which are as follows: Imaging, Biomarkers, Therapy, Genetics, Tumor Biology and Survivorship. |

Application Details: |
Proposal submission is a two-step process consisting of (1) a pre-application submission through the CDMRP eReceipt system (https://cdmrp.org/), and (2) a proposal submission through Grants.gov (http://www.grants.gov/).
As the Grants.gov application package for this award mechanism uses Adobe Reader forms, you must have a compatible version of Adobe Reader in order to submit the application package.
Submission of the same research project to different award mechanisms within the same program or to other CDMRP programs is discouraged. The Government reserves the right to reject duplicative proposals.
Please ensure that you have completed the pre-application submission before the mandatory pre-application deadline. NOTE: the "Submit" button must be pressed for pre-application to be complete otherwise it will remain in draft status. Due to the blinded nature of the review process, identifying or making references to the PI or the institution within the Preproposal Narrative is prohibited and will result in administrative rejection of the application. The use of 'I', 'our', 'this institution', or similar wording in phrases that make it possible to identify the PI and/or institution through the references listed will result in administrative rejection of the pre-application and preclude invitation to submit a full application.
Pre-application submission is the required first step. Only those who have completed this step will be invited to submit a full proposal.
Applications must be submitted electronically by the Authorized Organizational Representative (AOR) through Grants.gov (www.grants.gov). Each application submission must include the completed application package of forms and attachments identified in www.grants.gov for the US Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity (USAMRAA) Program Announcement/Funding Opportunity. NOTE: All Letters of Intent and Full Applications must be processed through Research Development & Services for institutional approval. Requests for Institutional approvals should be received no less than 3 days prior to the posted Sponsor deadline. A ROLA Proposal (bearing applicant, Chair and Dean electronic approvals) is required for each submission. |
