Description:

The Canadian Diabetes Association offers support for research projects designed to enhance our knowledge of the prevention, etiology, management, and cure of diabetes and related complications. As well as population health, health services, diabetes education, community and practice-based research. The Nominated Principal Applicant must be an independent researcher. The Nominated Principal Applicant and Co-Applicant(s) must have an academic or research appointment with an eligible Canadian Institution.

Operating Grant registrations must be submitted online using ResearchNet by 20:00 hrs (EST) Monday, December 3, 2012. Registrations and applications must be submitted online through ResearchNet at: https://www.researchnet-recherchenet.ca All applications must clearly demonstrate relevance to diabetes. Please refer to the Operating Grant (2.0), Governing Policies (5.0) and Use of Grant Funds (6.0) sections prior to completing an application. Application Details: This Program requires that a PI complete and submit a Registration Form by CDA's deadline date. Please see Agency guidelines for more information. Use this program if you are renewing an existing Grant - In - Aid. All registrations and applications are to be submitted online through ResearchNet.INDIRECT COSTS MUST NOT BE LEVIED ON THIS PROGRAM
NOTE: All Letters of Intent and Full Applications must be processed through Research Development & Services for institutional approval. Requests for Institutional approvals should be received no less than 3 days prior to the posted Sponsor deadline. A ROLA Proposal (bearing applicant, Chair and Dean electronic approvals) is required for each submission.
