Description: |
The Lawson Foundation invites letters of intent to strengthen the delivery of diabetes prevention, care and management programs and services through innovation. The Diabetes Funding Opportunity is unable to support: Basic science research; population-wide health promotion initiatives; scholarships; continuing education of applicant(s); operating budgets of service agencies or educational institutions; projects already completed; or direct support for individuals, including for the purchase of assistive devices and medical supplies. |

Application Details: |
The diabetes funding strategy supports innovative, evidence-based projects in Canada that promote effective partnerships and lead to enduring benefits for the community.
Maximum grant amount is $200,000 payable over 24 months (maximum $100,000 per 12-month period). |

NOTE: All Letters of Intent and Full Applications must be processed through Research Development & Services for institutional approval. Requests for Institutional approvals should be received no less than 3 days prior to the posted Sponsor deadline. A ROLA Proposal (bearing applicant, Chair and Dean electronic approvals) is required for each submission. |
