Description: |
The objective of the Ontario Human Capital Research and Innovation Fund (OHCRIF) is to support research and innovation projects that identify better ways to help people prepare for, return to or keep employment and become productive participants in the labour force. OHCRIF will fund research and innovation projects that align with the priorities of the MTCU. This call for proposals is direct to short-term research and review projects which must be completed by March 31, 2017. This is a targeted call to obtain evidence to improve knowledge in the areas of postsecondary educations, labour market, and employment and training policy.

Application Details: |
The OHCRIF competition is open to the following categories of researchers: Academic researchers and post-doctoral fellows; non-faculty postsecondary researchers; researchers at broader public sector or non-profit organizations; graduate students and other qualified researchers. Applicants are required to be affiliated with an institution or organization that is a legal entity in Canada. Western's eligibility rules also apply. Applications must be signed, scanned and submitted electronically by April 25, 2016 to OHCRIF@ontario.ca.IDC COSTS OF 10% MUST BE INCLUDED IN THE BUDGET |

NOTE: All Letters of Intent and Full Applications must be processed through Research Development & Services for institutional approval. Requests for Institutional approvals should be received no less than 3 days prior to the posted Sponsor deadline. A ROLA Proposal (bearing applicant, Chair and Dean electronic approvals) is required for each submission. |
