Description: Spark Advocacy Grants are awarded in a competition that helps groups of individuals begin to spark action in their communities. It provides financial support to implement advocacy initiatives that increase access to physical activity and/or healthy food for children across the province. The goal of the fund is to ignite and catalyze change within Ontario's diverse communities.

Application Details: Completed applications must be submitted electronically at by midnight on the due date. Applications submitted after this date will not be accepted. 2. Before you apply, please be sure that you have: a) Identified the specific problem in your community that presents a barrier to children?s access to physical activity and/or healthy food b) Decided on the change that needs to happen to address the problem c) Identified the decision-makers that can assist with making the change to address the problem d) Identified coalition partners that you will work with.
NOTE: All Letters of Intent and Full Applications must be processed through Research Development & Services for institutional approval. Requests for Institutional approvals should be received no less than 3 days prior to the posted Sponsor deadline. A ROLA Proposal (bearing applicant, Chair and Dean electronic approvals) is required for each submission.
