Description: |
The Ontario Sport and Recreation Communities Fund (OSRCF) is a grant program that supports a vision of getting and keeping Ontarians active in community sport, recreation and physical activity.
Through the support of projects that deliver high-quality programs and policies, the OSRCF will provide Ontarians with more opportunities to become physically active, including groups who experience barriers to participating and those who are traditionally less active. Statement of Interest deadline for Provincial projects is January 16, 2014 by 5:00pm EST. All OSRCF application must be submitted electronically through Grants Ontario at www.grants.gov.on.ca.
Successful SOI applicants will be contacted by Ministry staff and requested to submit a full
application. |

Application Details: |
There are two funding streams in the OSRCF: the Local/Regional Stream which provides funding for projects that address community needs at the local level in one of four Ministry regions; The Provincial Stream which funds projects that encompass the province as a whole, with an impact across all four Ministry regions.
Universities or colleges may apply to the Provincial stream, for applied research projects only.
All applicants must make a cash contribution of at least 10% of total eligible expenses.Only confirmed cash and/or in-kind contributions from your organization or from other organizations (partners) can be included. Contributions that come from other sources such as project funding from other Ministries or grants from agencies are not eligible as cash or in-kind contributions.

NOTE: All Letters of Intent and Full Applications must be processed through Research Development & Services for institutional approval. Requests for Institutional approvals should be received no less than 3 days prior to the posted Sponsor deadline. A ROLA Proposal (bearing applicant, Chair and Dean electronic approvals) is required for each submission. |
