Description: The NSD-PFC Award for Physiotherapy Research in the Neurosciences was established in 2006 as a result of a joint effort between the Neurosciences Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association and the Physiotherapy Foundation of Canada

Application Details:

The Principal investigator must be a physiotherapist who EITHER: Does not currently hold, or has not held in the past 3 years, a national or large (i.e. in order of $50,000) provincial research grant. Applicant must demonstrate how the proposal could lead to further research on a larger scale OR Currently holds, or has held in the past 3 years, a national or large provincial research grant. Applicant must demonstrate how the proposal is a departure from their funded research and how the proposal could lead to further research on a larger scale. The successful applicant must be a member in good standing of the Neurosciences Division.

Applications for research grants must be received at the Physiotherapy Foundation of Canada's offices by January 30, 2012 on the current Application Form (applicants are responsible for making certain they are using current version of the application regulations and guidelines). Applicants must submit one hard copy and one soft copy of the completed application and all attachments. Applications and attachments should be typed single spaced, minimum font size 11 on 21.5 x 28cm paper. Illustrations should be drawn with clean black lines.

INDIRECT COSTS ARE NOT SUPPORTED BY THIS PROGRAM

NOTE: All Letters of Intent and Full Applications must be processed through Research Development & Services for institutional approval. Requests for Institutional approvals should be received no less than 3 days prior to the posted Sponsor deadline. A ROLA Proposal (bearing applicant, Chair and Dean electronic approvals) is required for each submission.
