This Announcement of Opportunity (AO) aims to contribute to the development of Future Canadian Space Capacity in order to attract, sustain and enhance the nation?s critical mass of Canadian space specialists, foster Canadian space innovation, and preserve the capability of the nation space-related facilities.

Application Details:

In order to be eligible, projects must be consistent with the followings criteria for eligibility: Must be considered as an Earth-based research. None of the research supported under this AO should be conducted during a flight or in space. Must require the collaboration of at least three teams from three different organizations (combination of universities, not-for-profit organizations and/or private companies). Must clearly identify a single lead organization (Eligible Recipient, section 2.2) and cluster partners from other organisations. A single Principal Investigator can lead only one Cluster at a time although an Eligible Recipient can apply more than once. Must clearly identify a project and a set of activities to be performed by the Cluster;Projects must be performed in the strategic areas described in the program guidelines.

The NOI should be a short, text-only email addressed to the Manager Academic Relations at the Canadian Space Agency and sent to the following email address: anne-marielan.phan@asc-csa.gc.ca

INDIRECT COSTS OF 20% MUST BE INCLUDED IN THE PROJECT BUDGET

NOTE: Letters of Intent and Full Applications are to be processed through Research Development Services for institutional signatures, and are to be accompanied by a completed RDAF form (bearing applicant, Chair and Dean signatures). Requests for Institutional signatures should be received no less than 3 days prior to the posted Sponsor deadline.
