In general, team grants support expert teams of talented and experienced researchers carrying out high-quality research on important health issues best addressed through a collaborative, multidisciplinary approach. These teams provide superior research training and mentorship environments, and support the production of new knowledge and the translation of research findings into improved health and health care. This "Team Grant: Bone Health" is being offered to encourage and stimulate new and established investigators to undertake new, high priority research challenges in the field of bone health. |

Application Details: |
The application process is comprised of two stages: Letter of Intent and Full Application.
CIHR Team Grant proposals will be evaluated as a single, integrated entity. While each research component included in the application must be meritorious, it is critical to demonstrate that the CIHR Team Grant brings added value, in terms of the approach to improving the health of Canadians or strengthening the Canadian health care system. Your Application will be submitted using ResearchNet. Scan and upload the signed signature pages including the routing slipin the Print/Upload Signature Pages task in ResearchNet prior to submitting your application. Selected applicants will be invited to submit a full application by the deadline date.INDIRECT COSTS ARE NOT LEVIED ON THIS PROGRAM |

NOTE: All Letters of Intent and Full Applications must be processed through Research Development & Services for institutional approval. Requests for Institutional approvals should be received no less than 3 days prior to the posted Sponsor deadline. A ROLA Proposal (bearing applicant, Chair and Dean electronic approvals) is required for each submission. |
