Description: |
The CIHR Catalyst Grant program provides seed money, on a short-term basis, to support health research activities which represent a first step towards the pursuit of more comprehensive funding opportunities. The Personalized Health Catalyst Grants funding opportunity is expected to: Optimize patient empowerment in personalized health care approaches; Develop data integration and analysis tools that will optimize personalized health interventions; Assess the value of personalized health care for effective implementation and delivery; Increase researcher awareness about the importance of integrating sex- and gender-based analysis in assessing relative costs and benefits.
?Additional funding is available through Mitacs to fund internships for graduate students and post-doctoral fellows in personalized health projects. Relevant Personalized Health Catalyst Grant applicants will have expedited access to Mitacs funding for training of graduate students and post-doctoral fellows. Each internship is valued at $15,000, which is cost-shared by Mitacs and the partner (for-profit and not-for-profit organizations within Canada). |
