The FCRF supports Franco-Canadian joint research projects, based on the excellency.
The FCRF was created on, 2000 to encourage and develop exchanges of excellence between France and Canada in the fields of research and postsecondary education. Only new projects will be taken into consideration: applications for renewals or extensions cannot be accepted. Proposals received during the application period will be submitted to the Consortium for preselection (each institution will preselect 3 proposals).
The teams whose proposals has been preselected will be directly asked for a supplementary detailed information.
A scientific evaluation of the proposals will be conducted by the two countries; the Executive Committee of the Fund will then decide on the final list of selected projects. |

Application Details: |
The project must bo a joint project between French and Canadian partners.
The selection process will focus especially on the scientific quality and originality of the project, on the competence and complementarity of the applicant teams, the involvement of younger individuals (doctoral or post-doctoral students, faculty researchers). The application form must be sent to both assistant.science@ambafrance-ca.org and mkatsivo@uwo.ca. (UWO's Canadian Correspondent). The form can be completed in either english or in french. The application must also be sent to: AND to the Embassy of France at: assistant.science@ambafrance-ca.org. NOTE: Letters of Intent and Full Applications are to be processed through Research Development Services for institutional signatures, and are to be accompanied by a completed RDAF form (bearing applicant, Chair and Dean signatures). Requests for Institutional signatures should be received no less than 3 days prior to the posted Sponsor deadline. |
