Description: |
The Hearing Foundation of Canada (THFC) supports new research initiatives that have scientific merit, particularly those from young investigators. The primary purpose of the research funding is to support operating expenses rather than capital equipment. At this time, our focus is on biological and clinical research projects. Applications submitted by mail must be postmarked no later than February 8, 2013

Application Details: |
Proposals for research funding must pertain to the cause, prevention, intervention and cure for hearing loss. Both basic and clinical research proposals will be considered. The Hearing Foundation encourages interdisciplinary collaboration. Proposals for projects that include scientific work done by collaborators who are not co-investigators must include a letter of agreement to collaborate. Format for proposals: type must be no smaller than 12 point font, single spaced, 1 inch margins, maximum length of project description is 5 pages, utilizing the application form provided. Two additional pages of supportive attachments for figures or other related data are acceptable, but they must be relevant.INDIRECT COSTS ARE NOT ELIGIBLE |

NOTE: All Letters of Intent and Full Applications must be processed through Research Development & Services for institutional approval. Requests for Institutional approvals should be received no less than 3 days prior to the posted Sponsor deadline. A ROLA Proposal (bearing applicant, Chair and Dean electronic approvals) is required for each submission. |
