Description: |
The PRU's Open Operating Grant, is made available on an ad hoc basis, subject to availability of funds, and is intended to fund Ontario based projects that demonstrate a provincial scope & at least 3 POGO tertiary centres must participate Funds may be used to support research personnel (excluding the primary investigator), minor equipment, databases, supplies, and travel essential for the conduct of the research. |

Application Details: |
The steering committee will review the applications based on scientific merit, qualifications of PIs, whether the application encompasses the required components, how the funds will facilitate the project, relevance to vision and goals of POGO.For those applicants who are unsure if their proposal would quality for PRU support, and prior to submitting a full proposal, they may submit a Brief Research Outline. See program guidelines for more details. |

NOTE: All Letters of Intent and Full Applications must be processed through Research Development & Services for institutional approval. Requests for Institutional approvals should be received no less than 3 days prior to the posted Sponsor deadline. A ROLA Proposal (bearing applicant, Chair and Dean electronic approvals) is required for each submission. |
