Description: |
The theme of this Teaching Fellows Program competition will be technology-enabled learning. Fellows will develop and complete an innovative technology project designed to enhance teaching and learning in their disciplines. In subsequent years, Teaching Fellows may work to integrate other themes into the curriculum such as experiential education, interdisciplinary learning initiatives, as well as international education and the mentorship of global ready graduates.
Only one Teaching Fellowship will be awarded per Faculty. Teaching Fellows are eligible for up to $10,000 funding per year for three years to conduct their scholarly project related to teaching and to support professional development activities within their Faculties. Monies may be used, for example, to fund graduate student research assistants, to support professional development activities within their home Faculty, or to present projects at national or international teaching conferences. |

Application Details: |
All continuing members of full-time faculty (main campus) who are either limited term, tenure-track, or tenured*. For the current competition, limited duties faculty members are not eligible.
Faculty members from Social Science, the Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry, and Health Sciences are ineligible to apply to this call.Application should be submitted, in a single PDF file, by March 14, 2014 to Dr. Natasha Patrito Hannon, Coordinator, Teaching Fellows Program by e-mail: npatrit@uwo.ca.

Requests for Institutional approvals should be received no less than 3 days prior to the posted Sponsor deadline.
