Description: |
The Canadian Foundation on Fetal Alcohol Research (CFFAR) is a funding agency aimed at supporting research on the fetal effects of alcohol. Priority will be given to young investigators. It is recommended that young investigators team up with senior investigators whenever possible and realistic.
Results of each annual competition will be announced each year on or around September 9th, International FASD Day at the annual FACE Research Roundtable. Successful applicants will be asked to present their protocols and preliminary results at the FACE Research Roundtable a year later and their final results at a subsequent Research Roundtable. |

Application Details: |
CFFAR grant applicants will be required to secure matching support for the proposed project from academic, community or public agency sources. Matching support may be cash or in kind (e.g., laboratory facilities, administrative support, etc). Only those who have submitted a successful LOI will be invited to submit a full proposal.
EMAIL the full application package to researchgrants@fasdfoundation.ca and PUROLATOR COURIER ONLY one original AND five hard copies of the application package to the CFFAR Grant Coordinator. Hard copies may be double sided.INDIRECT COSTS ARE NOT SUPPORTED BY THIS PROGRAM. |

NOTE: All Letters of Intent and Full Applications must be processed through Research Development & Services for institutional approval. Requests for Institutional approvals should be received no less than 3 days prior to the posted Sponsor deadline. A ROLA Proposal (bearing applicant, Chair and Dean electronic approvals) is required for each submission. |
