The Entertainment and Creative Cluster Partnerships Fund (the Partnerships Fund) is a program of the Ministry of Culture, co-administered by the Ontario Media Development Corporation. The Fund assists Ontario's Entertainment and Creative Cluster stakeholders by supporting strategic partnerships that develop fresh approaches and solutions to the priorities and needs of the cluster. Please read the complete guidelines thoroughly prior to commencing your application. There are no changes to the program guidelines and requirements; however, the process for submitting applications is new this year. OMDC has introduced an Online Application Portal (OAP) system and all applications MUST be submitted via the OAP. Budget and Financing Requirements
While there is no maximum funding request there is a minimum funding request of $25,000. Project proponents are encouraged to make an effective business case for the level of funding appropriate to the scope and goals of the project and to follow these budget and financing guidelines:
The funding will be capped at 70% of the total budget with the following exception:
Trade organizations may utilize OMDC Trade Organization funding to a maximum of 25% of total budget.
The applicant contribution or project financing required in addition to the Partnerships Fund?s contribution may include cash and in-kind sources. Please note, in-kind must not exceed 50% of the applicant contribution.
Budget allocations towards capital expenditures such as equipment purchase will be allowed to a maximum of 25% of the total budget. The application deadline for this, the fifth round of funding is Wednesday, September 29, 2010 at 5:00 pm. Applicants must be Pre-Qualified by Wednesday, September 15, 2010 to apply to the program.INDIRECT COSTS ARE NOT LEVIED ON THIS PROGRAM |

NOTE: Letters of Intent and Full Applications are to be processed through Research Development Services for institutional signatures, and are to be accompanied by a completed RDAF form (bearing applicant, Chair and Dean signatures). Requests for Institutional signatures should be received no less than 3 days prior to the posted Sponsor deadline. |
