OHHRRN is calling for proposals for small research planning grants that address priorities from a health human resources perspective. Examples of priorities include:
Childhood Obesity Strategy
Faster Access to Family Health Care
Seniors Strategy and House Calls
Care as Close to Home as Possible
Moving Procedures into the Community
The purpose of this call for proposals is to provide funds to assist in the development of a competitive proposal for submission to one of CIHR's open operating grants due March 1, 2013 The deadline for the submission of proposals is Monday December 17th, 2012. Submissions must be received by 9am, EDT. Successful applicants will be notified on Wednesday December 20th 2012 with public notification in January 2013.

Application Details: |
Applicants must be an OHHRRN Scientist or affiliate (see other eligibility criteria below) Masters and Doctoral Students are eligible to apply as a co-applicant, provided their supervisors apply as the principal applicant.
Postdoctoral fellows are eligible to apply as a principal applicant Community partners are eligible to apply (e.g. LHIN?s, health clinics) provided they demonstrate a strong relationship with academic researchers/research institutions. Proposal must be Ontario based/focused (i.e., must target/relevant populations in Ontario) Only one application per person (as Principal or Co-Applicant) will be accepted in the course of a fiscal year. |

NOTE: All Letters of Intent and Full Applications must be processed through Research Development & Services for institutional approval. Requests for Institutional approvals should be received no less than 3 days prior to the posted Sponsor deadline. A ROLA Proposal (bearing applicant, Chair and Dean electronic approvals) is required for each submission. |
