Description: |
Supporting world-class academic research which will benefit people who are deaf, hard of hearing or who have tinnitus. Research projects in the following areas are requested: Cutting-edge research towards the repair of the auditory pathway to restore hearing. Forward-looking research to improve the function or fitting of hearing devices (e.g.hearing aids and cochlear implants) to increase patient benefit. Original research that will increase our knowledge of the mechanisms underlying hearing loss or contribute to the development of therapies to prevent hearing loss. |

NOTE: All Letters of Intent and Full Applications must be processed through Research Development & Services for institutional approval. Requests for Institutional approvals should be received no less than 3 days prior to the posted Sponsor deadline. A ROLA Proposal (bearing applicant, Chair and Dean electronic approvals) is required for each submission. |
