An annual salary stipend of $40,000 is paid by the Urology Care Foundation with $20,000 paid on or about July 1st and $20,000 on or about January 1st. This salary stipend is intended for salary only and cannot be used for fringe benefits, direct or indirect costs. In addition, the sponsoring institution for MD Scholars will be required to match the Foundation's $40,000 annual salary payment to the Scholar. For MD Scholars, the salary stipend match is intended for salary only and cannot include fringe benefits, direct or indirect costs. The sponsoring institution for PhD Scholars must provide $40,000 in matching support for salary and/or requisite supplies and equipment to complete the research. For PhD Scholars, the salary stipend match may include fringe benefits. Details of the sponsoring institution's plan for financial support should be provided in the application submitted by PhD Scholars.
