Jennifer Orpana's paper, "Turning Canada Inside Out: JR's Global Art Project and the Role of the Photographic Portrait" won the UAAC student essay prize and will be published in an upcoming issue of the journal RACAR.

Part-time faculty member Lorenzo Buj has written an essay accompanying Geneviève Chevalier's exhibition "Orford: Insular Territory" curated by Carl Lavoy at the Thames Art Gallery. His essay discusses her work in the context of activist art and global debates about wilderness and climate change.

Professor Corcoran, a geologist and Earth Sciences professor, and Jazvac, an artist and Visual Arts professor, headed to Kamilo Beach to discover what was there. What they found was an array of rock formations, with plastics fused within. (via Western News)
