    Register now for Fall Intramurals 2025!

    Registration OPENS Thursday, Sept 4 at 8:00 am for Fall 2025 Intramurals. Taking part in Intramural Sports is a great way to get involved in University life at Western. We offer a full range of of activities where individuals can participate in men's, co-ed, or women's leagues at the competitive or recreational level. League space is limited, and registration is first come, first served. Leagues fill up fast. Register as an individual or as a team. All skills levels are welcome.     Western Student Recreation Centre Closed Aug 25-29 for Student Staff Training

    The Western Student Recreation Centre will be closed next week for our annual leader and student staff training. Facilities including the WSRC will close on Sunday, August 24, 2025 at 5pm and reopen on Saturday, August 30 at 9:00am.     Campus Rec Temporarily Closed due to London Hydro Power Outage

    UPDATE: London Hydro power issues seem to have resolved as of 5:30pm. We anticipate opening with regular operating hours on Monday, August 11, 2025.     Western Campus Recreation is Changing the Game Through Belonging

    Western Campus Recreation is Changing the Game Through Belonging. Canada’s longest-running university Unified Basketball program is a model for inclusion, research and increased well-being. With Western's Unified Basketball program thriving, Special Olympics Ontario contacted Campus Recreation recently to present a new opportunity – a three-on-three (3x3) women's Unified Basketball tournament hosted by Special Olympics Indiana from August 4 to 7, 2025. Although the 3x3 format isn't part of local Special Olympics programming, Western worked with the organization to pull a team together. They are the only Canadian team participating in the international tournament.  (Read full entry)
