Description: |
Funds available to encourage research in areas of interest to Imperial Oil's petroleum, petrochemical and energy resource development businesses. The selection committee considers business relevance of the proposed research, opportunities for knowledge transfer and potential significance of results to the company.
Awards are made for one year and may be renewed annually for a maximum tenure of three years. A progress report (as part of the renewal form) is required at the end of each year for which an award has been received. |

Awards for specific research projects are made to full-time faculty members to support research work carried out by university students under their direction. Due to the University Closure on Dec 20th, please have your application in for institutional review and approval NO LATER THAN DEC 13, 2024

NOTE: All research-related grant applications, letters of intent, contracts and agreements requiring an institutional or organizational signature must submit related documents to the Office of Research Services for review and approval. Requests for institutional signature should be received a minimum of five to ten business days before the
posted Sponsor deadline. Please see Western Research's website regarding the institutional signatory process for more details. Specific opportunities may have their own timelines and requirements for submissions. A ROLA Proposal submitted by the PI and bearing department and faculty approvals is required. |
