Students who will miss academic responsibilities due to varsity commitments should come in at least one week before the event to get approval. We realize at times this might not be possible due to the scheduling of events.
- Complete an Academic Consideration Form
- Complete the Intercollegiate Athletics Program Commitment Verification Form
Please see your instructor for approvals of missed course work, if your course outline doesn’t indicate how to handle missed course work under 10%.
NOTE: If you write your accommodated exams through Student Accessibility Services (students with disabilities) you will also need to contact accessible education to set up your makeup exam. Please check your course outline to determine how and when your instructor wants you to contact them. It is important you contact them separately from this Academic Absence approval process – and as soon as you can.
