Nikon GA3 Analysis
To compliment the “NIS Elements AR” operational software on our Nikon Ti2e Imaging System, Biotron offers users a remote, networked workstation with a fully customizable GA3 analysis module. Nikon users can use Elements to generate quantifiable data, render their images, and create animations in 3D.
Nikon.nd2 files work seamlessly within the GA3 platform. A graphically enhanced user interface displayed as a “decision tree” allows users to readily create, modify, and interlink customized workflows and routines. The relationships between data source channels, binary segmentation layers, and data outputs are instantly visible and easy to edit.
The GA3 software package offers one of the nicest integrations of image processing steps with data output on the market. While other packages often separate or limit the choices for integrating these steps in the analysis pipeline, GA3 allows simple, amalgamated customization of processing steps and measurements within the workflow. An extensive suite of image preprocessing choices is available to help with accurate object segmentation. “Preview” mode lets the user see the results of all preprocessing and analysis options chosen within the workflow in real-time to create confidence in the accuracy of data outputs.
Simple full resolution screenshots may be taken as images for presentations. 3D rendering and animation tools round out the package, allowing users to create stunning animations in 3D volumetric view.
