Each year there are more than 100 peer leader positions available through the Western Peer Leader program. Peer Leaders receive a general orientation to Student Experience as well as specific training for their particular volunteer positions. Approximately twenty-five of these positions are with Learning Development & Success.
Learning Peers and PAL Ambassadors volunteer in our Peer Assisted Learning (PAL) Centre.

Volunteers are an essential part of Western's support for students and greatly increase the amount of support that is available. In addition, the skills that you can develop and the experiences that you can gain from volunteering can enhance resumés and strengthen applications for employment, professional schools, and graduate school.
