Divy is a student at Western University and has dreamed of hosting a TEDx even since he was in high school and viewed his first TED talk. Outside of academia, he passions include playing basketball, virology and attempting to understand the origin of our universe. After completing his undergraduate study at Western, Divy is currently pursuing a graduate degree in Science at Western.

Sujen recently finished his undergraduate degree at Western University in the Medical Sciences, and is now a first year student at University of Toronto's medical school. He is very passionate about social justice, and also enjoys hip hop dancing and performing close up magic tricks. He loves the idea of re-shaping perspectives and that is why he is honoured to be part of the TEDxWesternU team.
Nelson is a fourth year neuroscience student at Western. He is thrilled to be a part of the TedXWesternU team and looks forward to bringing new and innovative ideas to Western’s campus. Ted Talks have always sparked curiosity and wonder in him and he believes they will continue to have a positive impact on the community.
Timothy is very passionate about TEDx and its ability to spread ideas and change lives. A fourth year student, Timothy loves contributing to initiatives that bring people of different interests and perspectives together. He is humbled to be part of TEDxWesternU and looks forward to working on future TEDx conferences.
David is an HBA2 student at Ivey Business School. Formerly an English major and a residence staff member, he still reads as many books as he can (when not reading cases) but has officially retired from telling students to stop playing beer pong. He is very passionate about multidisciplinary education and is excited to bring TEDx back to Western!
Ryan is currently teaching Business and Accounting Analysis (Business 2257) at Western. He strongly supports TED’s mission of spreading ideas and the belief that sharing powerful ideas can change attitudes, lives, and ultimately, the world. Ryan is thrilled to be a part of the TEDxWesternU 2015 team!
As a science enthusiast, Mariana is currently in her third year in the Medical Sciences program. Having just spent the past summer in a lab in Germany, she was able to combine her two passions together: microbiology and travelling. Mariana has watched several TED talks in and out of the classroom and loves how each talk has the ability to captivate, teach, and inspire its viewers. She is beyond excited to help plan such an event at her own school!
Nancy is a creative individual who has been contributing to the Western campus through her passion of graphic design for the past three years. She is constantly inspired by the possibilities to enhance the visual experience and her background in Fine Arts has certainly been a contributing factor to her interests. The platform to share ideas, collaborate, and influence one another is what sparked her interest to become a part of TEDxWesternU.
Mathew is a third year genetics student at Western. Outside of the science he is a passionate about music and its history, cultural implications, and its intricacies. He loves how impactful and paradigm shifting a single TED talk can be and is delighted to be a part of this year’s TEDxWesternU team.
