Description: |
The Canadian vision for the AGGP is to develop and transfer knowledge to help Canadian farmers
mitigate GHGs. Focus will be put on both science and knowledge creation and on implementing
knowledge and technology transfer. The AGGP will also support the development of new BMPs and new
technologies to mitigate GHGs. The objective of the AGGP is to enhance the understanding and accessibility of agricultural technologies, BMPs and processes that can be adopted by farmers to mitigate GHGs in Canada. The maximum level of total federal government funding for a project under this Program will not
generally exceed 85% of total project costs. Both cash and `in-kind? contributions from proponents and other project partners will be recognized as contributions to the project under the Program. In-kind contributions are not eligible for reimbursement. |

Application Details: |
The proposal template is provided in Annex B of the guidelines. AAFC requests that this template be used for all submitted proposals. Please review the template carefully prior to submitting a proposal to ensure that all required information is provided. In addition to the proposal template, a proof of active corporate standing of the proponent is also required. Letters of support for the project are optional. Proposals are to be submitted electronically. Please forward proposals to AGGP@agr.gc.ca.ELIGIBLE INDIRECT COSTS HAVE NOT YET BEEN DETERMINED |
NOTE: Letters of Intent and Full Applications are to be processed through Research Development Services for institutional signatures, and are to be accompanied by a completed RDAF form (bearing applicant, Chair and Dean signatures). Requests for Institutional signatures should be received no less than 3 days prior to the posted Sponsor deadline. |
