Landspout tornado near Caron, SK

The Northern Tornadoes Project (and Environment Canada) have confirmed a landspout tornado near Caron, SK, on the evening of May 17th. Numerous photos and videos of the tornado were posted to social media. There were also unconfirmed reports of minor damage to a farm building. The details known at this time are below.

Preliminary location: 50.55N, 105.88W
Description: Witnesses captured video and photos of a tornado north of Caron and Caronport, also seen from Keeler and Moose Jaw areas. No injuries have been reported. Possible related structural damage was reported on social media but has not been confirmed or assessed at this time. A preliminary rating of EF0-default has been assigned. Radar analysis showed no storm rotation therefore a landspout tornado. Further investigation pending, including satellite imagery review.
