Two tornadoes in SK on June 23

NTP investigations have confirmed two tornadoes that occurred in SK on June 23. These tornadoes were photographed but no damage reports have been received and ground surveys also found no evidence of damage. As such, both tornadoes have been assigned a rating of EF0-Default.

Date: June 23, 2024

Final Classification: Tornado (Over Land)

Preliminary EF-Scale Rating: EF0-default

Estimated tornado location: 52.54N, 107.18W

Description: Witness captured a photo of a tornado north of Borden. No damage and no injuries were reported. An NTP ground survey team visited the area on June 25, 2024, but found no clear signs of damage. Preliminary assessment is EF0-default tornado. Start time is based on witness report. Satellite imagery review is pending.

Estimated tornado location: 52.34N, 105.24W

Description: Witness captured a photo of a tornado near Fulda (northwest of Humbolt). No damage and no injuries were reported. Further investigation is pending, including an NTP ground and drone survey. Preliminary assessment is EF0-default tornado. Start time is based on witness report. Satellite imagery review is pending.
