Three more late-June SK tornadoes

The NTP has determined that three additional late-June tornadoes occurred in southern SK. There were two tornadoes on June 21, each assigned a default EF0 rating. And there was one tornado on June 29, with damage rated at EF0.

Event Name: Glenbain, SK

Date: June 21, 2025

Start Time: 2:55 PM CST (2055 UTC)

Final Classification: Tornado (Over Land)

Final EF-Scale Rating: EF0-default

Estimated Tornado Location: 49.83N, 107.05W

Description: A witness north of Hazenmore captured a photo of tornado near Glenbain. No injuries were reported. As no damage was reported and satellite imagery review revealed no visible damage, the EF-scale assessment is default EF0. Information available insufficient to accurately estimate track length, max. path width and tornado motion. Start time is based on witness report.

Start Time: 4:15 PM CST (2215 UTC)

Final Classification: Tornado (Over Land)

Final EF-Scale Rating: EF0-default

Estimated Tornado Location: 50.65N, 108.46W

Description: Witness captured video of a brief tornado north of Cabri. No injuries were reported. As no damage was reported and satellite imagery review revealed no visible damage, the EF-scale assessment is default EF0. Information available insufficient to accurately estimate track length, max. path width and tornado motion. Start time is based on witness report.

 

Event Name: Stockholm, SK

Date: June 29, 2025

Start Time: 9:00 PM CST (0300 UTC)

Final Classification: Tornado (Over Land)

Preliminary EF-Scale Rating: EF0

Estimated Tornado Location: 50.56N, 102.21W

Description: Witness captured video of a tornado southeast of Stockholm, where tree damage was later found. No injuries were reported. A preliminary EF0 rating is assigned, with satellite imagery review pending.
