The MMASc Advantage

You’ve earned your undergraduate degree, and now it’s time to fast- track your career with Western’s 12-month course-based Master of Management of Applied Science (MMASc).

Employers want to hire educated and competitively skilled people. This professional graduate-level program helps bridge the gap between your undergraduate education and the management skills required to succeed in your career. The MMASc program strategically combines core management curriculum with opportunities to build and focus your unique set of in-demand management skills in Applied Science or Global Health Systems.

In your first 8 months as an MMASc student, you will receive foundational management and stream-specific training and mentorship from faculty, and local and international partners.

In your final term, the MMASc program takes you beyond traditional and case-based learning and into a professional environment where you will actively apply your newly acquired skills in positions with partner organizations. This term culminates in a Capstone event where you and your MMASc peers share, reflect and learn from experiences over the past 12 months.

After graduation you join a group of successful alumni from across the globe. As a student, you will have a chance to connect with alumni who return to Western to speak to incoming MMASc students about the benefits of this intensive program and future career opportunities.
