Dr. Olivia Daub is an Assistant Professor in the School of Communication Sciences & Disorders. She is also an Affiliate Scientist with the National Centre for Audiology (UWO) and the Better Outcomes Registry Network and an Integrated Knowledge Translation Expert with the IKTRN. Olivia completed her combined MClSc/PhD here at Western under the co-supervision of Drs. Oram Cardy & Bagatto. She also completed a postdoctoral fellowship in Implementation Scientist at the University of Ottawa, receiving mentorship from Dr. Graham. Olivia has previously practiced as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the London, ON community, and has worked as a Knowledge Translation Specialist with the Better Outcomes Registry Network.
Olivia's research focuses on co-creating evidence-informed assessment practices with policy-makers and front-line clinician's with a particular focus on spoken language development in infants and toddlers. Olivia is increasingly interested in how different team members come to understand outcome data, and use results from assessments to make decisions. Olivia's research engages with policy-makers and clinicians to design new assessment practices that are meaningful and impactful in clinical practice.
