Luisa Liboni

headshot of dr. luisa liboniLuisa Liboni received her Ph. D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of São Paulo, Brazil. Prior to joining the Western Academy, Luisa was a visiting Ph. D. scholar at the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD), USA, focusing on dynamical systems, data science, and machine learning. Initially, her research involved solving parameter estimations of coupled transmission lines and constrained optimization problems via reinforcement learning. Currently, she is focused on computational neuroscience and data-driven computational research.

Luisa's work has appeared in a number of publications, including Knowledge-Based Systems, IEEE Transactions on Instrumentation and Measurement, International Journal of Electrical Power and Energy Systems, and Measurement.
