Campus Safety Notice - April 22, 2022

To our campus community:

We are providing an important campus safety update.  

On Thursday, April 21, 2022, at approximately 9:30 pm, a female student reported being grabbed by an unknown male in the vicinity of Brescia Lane. The suspect left the area when the victim walked away.

Western Special Constable Service and London Police Service were notified immediately and are currently investigating.

The suspect is described as a white male with blonde hair, early 20s, 5’8” and last seen wearing a baseball hat and jean jacket.

Western Special Constable Service constantly patrols our campus and is available to the campus 24-7.

If you are aware of any suspicious activity while on campus, please contact Western Special Constable Service immediately at 911 or 519-661-3300. We are here to provide support.

Western Foot Patrol is a volunteer driven service that provides safe escorts, walking you to your destination at night; deters crime through patrols; and promotes safety awareness on the main and affiliate college campuses. 

There are 26 Code Blue Emergency Phones located strategically on grounds throughout the campus. At any campus location you are only a few seconds away from a direct link to the Western Special Constable Service should a situation arise where you require assistance.
