This year’s conferences will have three types of oral presentations: Elevator Pitches, Oral Presentations, and Poster Presentations.
Elevator Pitches: These presentations are short 5 minute talks. Time for questions will depend on the number of accepted submissions. This information will be sent out to presenters upon acceptance. Presenters will be given a “1 min remaining” warning.
Oral Presentations: These presentations are 10-12 min talks with 2-3 minutes for questions. Specific timing will be sent out with confirmations, as this will depend on the number of accepted submissions. Presenters will prepare a presentation. Presenters will be given a “2 min remaining” warning.
Poster Presentations: Posters will be accepted in all sizes, however typical standard scientific poster size is 36 inches by 48 inches (91.4cm x 121.9cm), typically in a landscape orientation. Poster’s will be presented during a traditional poster session and will remain up for reading throughout the day of the conference. Presenters will be expected to bring their poster in the morning and set up and take it home with them at the end of the conference. Materials to mount your poster will be provided.
