Faculty of Health Sciences Commitment to Equity Scholarship for International Graduate Students in Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy and Advanced Health Care Practice

Western University's Faculty of health Sciences is committed to cultivating equitable, diverse and inclusive learning environments for students from all around the world. Our faculty is aware of the barriers to education that many international students encounter. For this reason, the Faculty of Health Sciences will be offering three Graduate Scholarships worth a total of $120,000.

Three eligible students applying to the Occupational (MScOT), Physical Therapy (MPT) or Advanced Health Care Practice (AHCP) programs will receive $20,000 per year during their studies. Students must meet all admission requirements as well as the criteria of the Faculty of Health Sciences’ EDI Committee. One student will receive the award from each program.

Western University Faculty Of Health Sciences General International Graduate Students’ Admission Scholarship

The Faculty of Health Sciences values diversity across our schools. We are committed to increasing the number of international students in our programs to create a more diverse learning environment. We understand the challenges of being an international student in Canada and are willing to contribute to those who are interested in our Occupational Therapy (MScOT) and Physical Therapy (MPT) Graduate Programs.

FHS will award five international scholarships valued up to $5000 each, across two years of Occupational Therapy and Physical Therapy Graduate Programs for the students that has the most outstanding SubGPA and Casper Score.


Joy MacDermid Bursary for an International Student in Financial need applying to Upper Extremity Rehabilitation Master’s Program

The Faculty of Health Sciences is seeking motivated Physical Therapy and Occupational therapy graduates for an exciting opportunity to enroll in the Upper Extremity Rehabilitation field within the Advanced Health Care Practice Program, with generous financial assistance of $5000 towards tuition from Dr. Joy MacDermid for an international student in financial need.
