Knowledge Mobilization Unit

The Knowledge-to-Action Team
The Knowledge Mobilization (KMb) Unit was created in late 2021 and is embedded in the Research Administrative Support team. The KMb Unit designs and implements strategies to bridge the “know-do gap” between research and practice, profiles and promotes research, and coordinates information about FHS research with other communications departments at Western University. In addition, the unit supports faculty members in designing and honing KMb strategies across the entire research project lifecycle, along with building linkages with professional practice partners, policy makers, industry, the media and the broader public.
