This year's BGRF will be hosting your research in the form of:
- 12 minute talks (10 minute talk and 2 minute question/answer session)
- 3 minute thesis talks
To this extent, we would like to ask all of you to submit an abstract in no more than 300 words. Kindly mail the abstracts to: firstname.lastname@example.org
Some points to note:
- If you wish to participate in all three platforms of presentation, please indicate your order of preference.
- If you only wish to participate in one or more specific platforms and not in the other, kindly let us know.
- If you already have posters made from before, you can definitely use those for this year's BGRF. Posters should not be larger than 4’ x 4'.
Abstract submission deadline is Saturday, August 15th, 2015.
The 3 Minute Thesis talks consist of one static slide with no transitions and only 3 minutes of talking. It is meant to be concise, succint and accessible to a general but intelligent/academic audience. We are introducing the platform for this year as an alternate to the technical, statistics/jargon heavy presentations that are meant for highly specialized audiences. How many of us can talk about our work in an accessible and general way for 3 minutes?
Come and find out! For more information on this kindly looks at the following websites:
