XRF2012 - Short Course in Modern X-ray Spectrometry

The 2012 Short Course in Modern X-ray Spectrometry will be held from June 4 to June 15 (2012) at the Dept of Earth Sciences. Twenty-three registrants from various industrial sectors is going to attend this two-week course to learn the X-ray fundamentals, instrumentation, qualitative and quantitative analysis and sample preparation methods through lectures and hands-on exercises in the next two week.

This course has earned its reputation as the most comprehensive and intensive course in North America. It has been recommended by all the major X-ray fluorescence spectrometer manufacturers to their users as a basic training requirement for successfully carrying out routine analysis.
