Application Timeline
Applications will be accepted between November and January. Applications submitted after the January 31st deadline will continued to be reviewed until March 31, 2025; however, you may have less chance for success of program admission and funding opportunities the later your application is submitted.

Faculty Research Supervision and Your Application
The Brescia School of Food and Nutritional Sciences faculty accepting students for the upcoming school year are listed below, with access to their faculty profile noting their specialized areas of research. Before applying, applicants should review the research interests of the faculty members who are accepting students to establish if you share similar research interests.
Research supervision is not decided before applying. Within the application, applicants will be asked to submit their research interests and the names of the faculty members they would prefer to have as a research supervisor.
Potential applicants may directly contact those faculty members who are listed below with questions regarding their research, but all questions about the application or application process should be directed to fnsgrad@uwo.ca.

Application Process & Required Items
Applications to the MScFN thesis-based program are managed through Western’s School of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies.
Selection Process
Those invited to an interview will receive an invitation through email. Applicants are advised to check their email frequently, including spam or junk email folders. Interviews will be organized between the faculty member accepting students and the applicant. Interviews will be either in person or virtual.
Notification of program acceptance will be made following interviews to successful candidates starting in March and continuing until all seats in the program have been filled. This process may go into the summer months.
