The Advances in Earth Sciences Research Conference (AESRC) is a multidisciplinary conference designed for and by students.

In
previous years, this conference has been hosted by Queen's University,
Carleton University and the University of Ottawa. This year the
conference will be hosted for the first time at Western University in London, ON.
This
is a great opportunity to present your work to students from
universities all over Ontario and beyond in a friendly environment.
The conference will be hosted on the weekend of the 22nd of March.
Registration will be open on Friday the 22nd, and the presentations will
be held on the 23rd and 24th. The
registration for the week end will include all meals on Saturday,
breakfast and lunch on Sunday, a banquet and on the Saturday and some
Geo night outs!
The themes covered are the following:
- Economic Geology, Igneous and Metamorphic Petrology
- Petroleum Geology, Sedimentology, and Paleontology
- Planetary Science and Astrobiology
- Environmental Science, Sustainability, and Hydrology
- Geophysics and Geo-engineering
Those themes will be subject to changes depending on the abstracts we receive.
