Admission Requirements
MA Program
Admission requirements:
- Honours (or four year) Bachelor's degree in Philosophy from an accredited university, although students whose specialization is not Philosophy may be admitted
- Minimum 70% average in last two years of the undergraduate degree, as determined by the School of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies
- Applicants whose first language is not English must furnish evidence of their proficiency in the use of the English language (School of Graduate & Postdoctoral Studies - Admissions Requirements). Our program does not waive this requirement; however, applicants may request that SGPS assess their eligibility of an exemption and we will accept their decision.
PhD Program
Admission requirements:
- MA in Philosophy from an accredited university, although students whose specialization is not Philosophy may be admitted
